Stargate Agreement

Stargate: Resistance was an online shooter with a third person owned by the American studio Dark Comet Games, powered by the Unreal 3 engine and based on the TV series Stargate SG-1. It was originally released in 2010 by Firesky and Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment, but Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment went bankrupt in March 2010 [3] and Firesky entered into an agreement with Dark Comet Games for the maintenance, operation and development of Stargate Resgate. [4] The game used a “Buy to Play” business model, with one-time purchase fees and no monthly subscription fees. The game servers were closed on January 15, 2011. [5] A fan-operated central server solution has been set up to make the game playable again. [6] However, with the rise of Anubis, the treaty was violated several times. By trying to use Tollan phase shift technology to send a weapon of mass destruction through the Earth`s iris, placing a naquadah asteroid on a collision course for Earth and developing a weapon that would destroy the Earth by deploying a power overload inside the Stargate, Anubis has repeatedly tried to destroy the Earth out of the Treaty. When their war with the replicators became more critical, the Asgard remained limited resources to enforce the treaty, and when the treaty on protected planets became largely invalidated, the 27 protected planets, including Earth, became vulnerable. After the destruction of Anubis, Ba`al began to consolidate his power with the intention of claiming the protected planets. At the end of the contract, the Asgard were no longer bound by their non-interference clause and agreed to offer the Earth their help and technology to help fight the Goa`uld.

The Asgard Thor arrives on Earth and informs Col O`Neil that they are at risk of being attacked by the Goa`uld. Thor offers mediation of lasting peace, and three lords of the Goa`uid system – Cronus, Niirti and Yu-huang Shang Ti – come to the negotiations. Teal`c doesn`t want anything to do with them, and part of the agreement is that O`Neill is the only representative of the world at the negotiating table. The conditions are quite heavy for O`Neill, especially as he has to abandon the two stargates.
